    Description

A 1994 Harley Davidson Road King FLHR. This is the first year for the Road King and this bike is finished in the striking factory Aqua Pearl and Silver paint scheme. The scheme is nearly identical to that on the 1965 Electra Glide and the Aqua Pearl is a near dead match the 1960’s HiFi Turquoise color. I have fitted with a matching tour pack and has that classic 60’s old school Electra Glide appearance. I have been told by those HD mechanics in the know the later Evo (80 cu in) motors are probably the most durable and reliable motors ever built by HD. The bike was originally sold by HD of Richmond VA, and I am the second owner. The bike came from a family in Virginia and has always been garaged and serviced by the dealer. It has about 65,000 miles on it (Speedo replaced at 48,000 miles). It has optional wire wheels, a lowering and breather kit. I have a set of Super Trapp mufflers and the original cast wheels for it, along with the Riders Manual, Service Manual and Parts Catalogue. I consistently gets over 40-42 +MPG highway. There is some paint peel on the primary case and worn off the cylinders.I purchased it in 2011 with the intention of doing some reliable and comfortable long distance touring, like a four corners run and Route 66. It has been in an arid climate so a minimal amount of plating corrosion. I did some 500-mile plus trips and this bike is pure touring comfort for one or two. Unfortunately, other life commitments have taken a priority and I ride this infrequently. Time for someone else to both enjoy and keep it as future collectable and long-term investment. Runs and rides excellent. I encourage pre bid inspections and can provide running or cold start videos upon request. A nonrefundable 0 deposit, preferably Zelle is due immediately at the close of bidding. Payment in full due in 7 days. The bike is sold as-is with no warranty or guarantees. Full balance via wire transfer or cash upon pickup. Clear and clean title. Thank you for your interest and happy biddingThe bike is located in southern California. It is available for inspection and I can assist in arranging for shipping Harley-Davidson Touring.
