    Description

Here is my beloved Road King. It started out life as a seemingly mistreated 88 Cube dual cam classic with leather bags. Through over 7.5 months of tearing it down to its frame and back up - it came to its current state with a 106 cubic inch S&S built motor with a Baker 6 speed overdrive, P&M front brakes with floating rotors and SO much more!
About 12k miles have been ridden since the build.
I built her as my "dream bike" though, that dream was one of 5 years ago, and now it's time for me to move on! I'm currently in the market for a Buell Ulysses and MAY consider one as a partial trade toward final selling price which MUST BE AGREED UPON PRIOR TO AUCTION END. Otherwise, I'm in no rush and will simply finish my shopping for one once this bike has sold.
BIKE IS LISTED LOCALLY - If sold locally I will reserve the right to end the auction early.
Starting price is less than the transmission and engine price alone (heck, it's close to the cost of the engine). As we all know- you Never get back what you put into a custom build. I've grown up around motorcycles and have been riding and building them for decades. No expense was spared on this project.
A fire-breathing, asphalt-eating, 106 cubic inch S&S fueled beast that is as pretty as she is FAST. Handles incredibly with a lowered Progressive Cartridge Suspension upfront (no more slow Harley fluid fed valves) and a Progressive suspension in the rear. The hydraulic clutch mated to a Baker 6-speed Overdrive is a great shifting platform that helps keep the revs down at highway speeds and longer rides. P&M Brakes upfront to stop it faster than you'd expect. Go-fast, Stop Fast.
Fluids always changed with Amsoil or Redline synthetic. It was kept covered in a climate-controlled garage until I moved October of last year - my new shop doesn't have AC (yet). I had a full annual & inspection done by Dan's Mobile V-twin in Sarasota last October as well as having brand new Metzeler ME888 Ultra's mounted front and rear (120/70B21 Front, 150/70B18 Rear)
Has a 2 year old x-rated xtreme torque fiberglass mat battery installed, and a battery tender pigtail - always kept on battery tender.
Here is a list of things done to it, and I'm probably missing something:
•Full S&S 106 motor (crank, cases, pistons, jugs, head - everything S&S)•Baker 6 speed OD transmission with S&S clutch pack• S&S fuel injection, ECU, Throttle body, & 2002 Harley Tank & in-tank fuel system •S&S Single Bore Tuned Induction system & dyed green S&S filters. •K&N permanent, washable race oil filter •Large front mount oil cooler. •Black Anodized Bagger Brace (The k-member was bent and straightened - as with many of this era bagger)•Hydraulic clutch conversion & chrome lever, chrome controls •Chrome mustache bar •All Magnum Black Pearl Braided SS lines. •Rinehart racing 2-1 chrome & black exhaust w/ machined tip •Progressive rear suspension •Progressive 2" drop gas Cartridge front suspension w/ chromed forks •Wild 1 Chubby mini-apes, mounting plates, & urethane mounts •Avon Spike end grips, matching front axle covers •Manual cruise control/throttle lock •Polished dash •Kuryakyn Tombstone horn cover w/ high decibel low tone horn •Twisted wires fat gauge green spark plug wires. •Painted headlight nacelle, extended grooved black headlight trim ring •Blue Jeweled headlamp •HID headlamp conversion •Kuryakyn black driving light & turn signal kit - both LED converted •Matched billet black & polished beer cans, Arlen Ness back latches, & Exhaust tip •Performance Machine front brakes & rotors•21" front, 18" rear pencil straight spoke Chrome & black rims •Klock Werks front & rear fenders •Tombstone LED tail light •NOS (pulled from parts bin) teardrop lights for rear turn signals mounted on rear filler plates •Willie G Skull parts including: Rider & passenger floorboard, mirrors, derby cover, shifter linkage & shifters etc. •Corbin Hustler saddle special ordered alligator printed leather, CVO low passenger backrest, with snakeskin insert •Hard bags •Bagger Nation Green diamond printed crushed full bag liners •LED light pods with constant on, breath, and strobe •Base coat vivid black & clear top by Tom & Jerry's Too in Sarasota •Pinstriping performed in between base & clear coat by Russ of Sun Coast Pin Stripping •Final Dyno & Tune on the S&S ECU by Precision Cycle
    The Worst Parts
: This bike was ridden and despite being religiously and regularly cleaned, does have some expected imperfections. Despite having the front fender 3M wrapped a rock did nick through it (pictured), there is also a scrape on the right side Kuryakyn fog lamp. There is some minor pitting, which may be cleaned up with some WD40 & steel wool, on the spokes of the wheels, front fork lowers, brake calipers, and mustache bar (other chrome imperfections may be expected with regular wear & tear). There are a couple of wear marks on the Corbin Seat & CVO Backrest as pictured (could be dyed if preferred- minor).  One of the rear turn signals had a few LED's go out - otherwise functional.
I have tried to be as transparent as possible on the bikes condition.  I would be COMPLETELY comfortable starting up this bike and riding it to California and back.  Bike is AS-IS, Where is.
I may be missing something, though this is a GREAT Bike for what will be an AWESOME deal. I'll never be able to rebuild it for what it sells for, I know it - and you should know it too - it's just time for me to move onto something else!
Sold AS-IS - As Pictured. All Sales FINAL - Build pictures are on Facebook/EMPCustoms
