    Description

    Harley-Davidson Touring.
2005 Electra Glide Classic EFI, Lava Red Sun-Glo, 1450cc twin cam engine, One owner, meticulously serviced.
    All stock/OEM, without modifications.
Detachable tour pack and a second low profile seat makes this bike suitable to tour the country or cruise city boulevards.  Engine service is current and bike is ready for road trip.
Owner’s manual, shop manual, and maintenance log are included.
    Additional details:
This engine uses spring loaded cam chain tensioners.  I replaced these at 87,800 miles (they had 48K miles on them and were about 50%worn).  This service requires opening the top end, so I took the opportunity to also do other preventative maintenance items, as follows:
    1) sent heads, valves and cylinders to HD dealership for cleaning, inspection and reconditioning.
    2) replaced inner cam bearing.
    3) replaced original OEM hydraulic lifters with new OEM lifters.
    4) new piston rings.
    5) new seals and gaskets throughout top end.
Consumables are all in good condition:
    1) HD battery is 18 months old. Has been kept fully charged.
    2) New tires 6k miles ago.  Rear usually replaced after 8k miles.  Front gets about 20K miles.
    3) Oil, tranny, chain case fluids, air filter recently changed, brake pads good.  Brake fluid flushed 12k miles ago.
    Some Potential issues for buyer:
    1) rear brake master cylinder cap has lost some paint.  See photo.
    2) rear break pedal has about 2" of travel.  Don't remember what it was when new, but it feels funny compared to my new bike with about 1" of travel.  But the brake pedal has solid engagement and is NOT spongy.
    3)  The bike went over on its left side, while stopped, during visit to Death Valley.  Only damage was to left edge of faring.  Not very noticeable. See photo.
    4) Paint, chrome and seat upholstery are in very good condition.  But there are some pin head sized chips in the faring paint from road grit.  They are normal and not very noticeable.  I tried to capture these in close up photo (3rd to last photo).
    5) small crack in top of rear tail light lens.  see photo

Buyer is responsible for shipping.  Or may pick up the bike in Tulsa, Ok.  We are on Route 66, and Tulsa is a great starting point for a west bound tour of the mother road.
