ANTIQUE INDIAN BOAT SHAPED KASHKUL (Beggers) BOWL 19th century vessel

Description

Lacquered papier mache decoration with brass open-mouthed dragons on each end. I suspect the lining of the bowl and on the base is of a different metal, most likely copper.
**Pictures have been taken using different types of lighting to try and capture the green and ivory colored accents. These colors are muted in most photos due to the overwhelming gold hues.
Condition described as commensurate of age and is as-pictured.
Under a blacklight, it displays a chartreuse glow over the decoration, another characteristic of an old varnish with no repairs or modern touch-ups.
The lacquer and decoration is chipped in several places. Please refer to photos.

6 ¼" x 2 ⅞"
Stands 4" tall from the footed base.
