From the archives of MC Lilley, this listing is for an antique multi-stage stamping die set that was used to make presentation trowels for the Harmony Lodge No. 49 A. F. & A. M. MASONIC in Missoula, Montana.  The lot includes:
Die-cutting pattern with Trowel-shaped opening for machine-punching brass blanks (4 brass blanks included)
Steel stamping die with HARMONY LODGE NO. 49 text and Masonic Square and Compass symbol, 3” max diameter x 1 7/16” high
Steel stamping die with PRESENTED TO text, 3” max diameter x 1 ½” high
Steel die with trowel-shaped jig to hold blade during design & text stamping, 3” diameter x 2 ¼” high
Twenty-six (26) Brass Trowel blades that have been stamped on both sides, tarnished & dirty with rust staining from storage - they need to be cleaned & buffed
The stamping dies are in Fine to VF condition with some pitting from old rust.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other listings.
