Wow! This is a very early piece. It is we believe the Hindu God Meenakshi. Well detailed stature / figure with a bird perched on shoulder. Holding a leaf shaped dish. This may have been an incense burner. Also it has been
suggested
it is a lamp that burned fat. Bell shaped base. It has a small pin hole at the bottom, not sure what that would be there for. Look this over, we think she is stunning and hope you do too. Cast from either solid brass or bronze.
Size: All items shown against ruler or in hand or both in one picture to help you judge size. Measures approximately 6 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches across the base.
Condition: Nice vintage condition as pictured. Very old crack or imperfection at the feet, does not go thru and is stable, just want to be thorough. Please see all the pictures as they are part of the description.
