    Description

    Russel Wright "American Modern" Goblets
    For your consideration are FOUR "American Modern" goblets (large water or wine glasses), designed in 1951 by the great American designer RUSSEL WRIGHT for the MORGANTOWN GLASS WORKS.  Each goblet measures 4" tall and 3
    3/4
    " in diameter and is in the desirable "Gray Granite / Smoke" color.
    Condition report:
    All are in good vintage condition with very minor scratching here and there.  One goblet does have two small rim chips, not too big of a deal in my humble opinion (and, as the host, you can use that one and no one will be the wiser!).  Morgantown's blowing technique occasionally created very small air bubbles in the glass and some of those appear in this set.  Now SEVENTY years old, these glass are in overall very good vintage condition.
