RUSSEL WRIGHT FOR STERLING E.L.H.S.A.A. SCALLOPED EDGE BOWL

On offer is a COLLECTORS PIECE OF RUSSEL WRIGHT. This bowl was made in 2002 for the ELHSAA ( East Liverpool High School Alumni Association). Each year an auction is held at the East Liverpool Clock Tower, where pottery lovers from all over attend, with proceeds going to the scholarship fund. A few of the local potteries make a special limited edition item for auction. Sterling China Company chose to reproduce a piece of Russel Wright and chose this bowl based on his Polynesian pattern. The Sterling China Pottery has since gone out of business. This item, is #2 of the 24 made and is signed as such on the bottom (see photo) and impressed with Sterling China. The bowl is in excellent vintage condition except for a black dot and some scratching on the inside bottom.
