Vintage Solid Shot Cannon Ball Old 1lb 15oz solid iron steel

I bought this as a cannon ball years ago at a thrift shop here in florida it weighs 1lb 15 oz has gouges and dings I down know anything about it other then that its solid and has a nice patina from age hard to tell what size it is roughly 2 and a half inches with a tape measure on a round surface I dont have a cal[pier to get exact measurements
